Information Technology Manager

Reports to: Terminal Director

Location: Everett, Washington

Position Summary
Propeller Airports Paine Field is looking for an IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, cots and timelines. In this role you will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs while also coordinating a variety of projects and assessing business implications for each stage of business growth. The successful candidate will have improved skills, a professional experience, and a detailed knowledge of Industry’s best practice processes. This position is based in Everett and will provide IT support for the terminal at Paine Field as well as lend support to Propeller aero Services, our FBO also located at Paine Field. This position requires exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish relationships and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Develop, implement and monitor the IT management and cyber security programs
• Evaluate and develop the company’s IT vision and translate it into actionable goals
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with the leadership team to select, enhance and launch IT solutions and applications
• Monitor the performance of company IT systems to ensure performance, productivity, and cost effectiveness
• Lead, coordinate, and manage company IT security programs to ensure company data cybersecurity protection, awareness, incident response policies, and procedures
• Consult with stakeholder across the organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology and telephone solutions
• Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
• Establish and execute major project communication plans
• Formulate, implement and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Identify impending challenges in the company IT environment given expected rapid growth and developing strategies to ensure the availability and performance of IT systems and data availability
• Oversee preventative maintenance of equipment and systems and record keeping related logs
• Maintain a work order system for tracking management of equipment maintenance and related costs
• Keep current with emerging technologies and how advances may be leveraged to increase the efficiency/effectiveness of company’s business processes
• Attend technical or complete online training to refresh knowledge and skills. Train others to ensure knowledge transfer between team members
• Assists the Terminal director as designated

• Must be able to complete and pass a background investigation and drug screening as required by the Federal Government and aviation-related authorities
• Maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance
• Must remain on call or on duty during terminal emergencies
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Good communication skills-written and verbal
