Financial Analyst

Position Summary
The Financial Analyst position is a FLSA salaried exempt full-time position of Propeller Airports PaineField LLC ("the Company”) reporting to the Director of Finance. The position is located at the Company’s Principle Base of Operations in Everett, Washington. We are looking for an ambitious, focused and industrious Financial Analyst to work closely with our Director of Finance and provide support by managing daily accounting tasks. In this position, you will help maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will prepare detailed accounts of financial transactions and receipts, assist in the budgeting process and prepare financial reports as well as assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status. In this position, you will also be responsible for consolidating and analyzing financial data taking into account company’s goals and financial standing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter accounts receivable & accounts payable into accounting system
• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other recurring accounting entries
• Process monthly expense reports
• Assist with payroll processing
• Manage 1099s reporting process
• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financials
• Assist in budget process and produce variance analysis
• Assist in annual audit and tax preparation

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, finance, math, or a related field
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling experience a plus
• Experience with Quickbooks and Oracle NetSuite accounting systems a plus
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of finance principles as well as financial reporting
• Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding accounting, finances and taxation
• Previous experience of general accounting
• Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to company accounts
• Perform accurate work to the highest standards of accountancy
• Able to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervision
• Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
• Strong critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills
• Superior verbal communication skills
